I tried the hypnosis with Stephanie after reading your blog. I too did a past life regression. I had high hopes after reading your blog because I have been wanting to try hypnosis for a long time. Unfortunately I thought it was a complete waste of money. I did not get hypnotized at all. It just didn't work. I think a better description of it would be meditation/guided imagery...

Hey Sally,
So sorry you didn't have a great experience. What did Stephanie say? As we wrote in our post, we felt that it hadn't "worked" either until we heard that it had actually been an hour when we felt like it had been ten minutes! We think this sort of thing is what you make of it-- more of a fun experimental adventure than a sure fire therapy. Have you tried other experimental healing before that you've liked? We're all ears!

Hi Mary and Lucy,

Well I completely agree with you that it is more of a fun experience than something that is going to solve your problems in life :) It did feel relaxing to me as she did the guided imagery. Just in all serious, nothing popped into my head as to what I was in my "past" life. It was kind of awkward laying there. I did get in a little of a daze and felt alone so I said maybe I was an orphan?? She went with that and then guided me to a cave where there was an old man giving me advice, but then I really didn't hear anything.

I tried acupuncture -- where they put the needles in by a lady in Santa Monica two months ago. She was a great acupuncturist and told me all about the yin/yang and how acupuncture works. The needles really do feel like they light up your nervous system. They say it can help with all sorts of problems. Her name was Dana Boldt www.danaboldt.com Check her out!

I really love your blog though and think you make excellent recommendations that are right up my alley!! Keep them coming!!
